Music director Kailas Menon made a dream debut as a composer with Theevandi, with his song Jeevamshamayi winning hearts as well as raking up record hits online. And now, his compositions have also landed him his first Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. “I am really really glad to win the Black Lady for my very first film. It’s a special achievement for any musician or an artiste,” he said, soon after winning the award.
