Jayasurya’s ‘John Luther’ gets a release date

The Malayalam actor Jayasurya is all set to play a cop in the upcoming investigation thriller ‘John Luther’ directed by the debutant Abhijith Joseph. Recently the makers announced that the film will hit the big screens on May 27th. Jayasurya, who plays the lead role in the film, took to his official Instagram handle to announce the release date of the film. Sharing a new poster from the investigation thriller, the actor penned a note that read, “John Luther Hitting theatres on 27th of May.” Actor Deepak Parambol, who plays a pivotal role in ‘John Luther’, shared a poster from the film and penned a note that read, ”John Luther, a gripping tale of investigation, survival and relationships taking charge from May 27th in theatres near you.” The recently released trailer of Abhijith Joseph’s directorial film actually soared up the expectation levels and hinted that the film will not be an usual investigation thriller. Jayasurya plays a cop character who is suffering from a unilateral hearing impairment following an accident. The story will be told in the backdrop of Devikulam, Munnar. ‘John Luther’ also has an ensemble of talented casts that includes the actors Deepak Parambol, Siddique, Athmeeya Rajan, and Drishya Raghunath. Meanwhile, Jayasurya has a host of highly anticipated projects in the pipeline that includes the films ‘Enthada Saji’, ‘Eesho’, ‘Aposthalan’, and ‘Ramasethu’.
