‘Gold’ OTT rights sold for a whopping amount

Prithviraj Sukumaran is gearing up for the release of his most ambitious film ‘Gold’ which is directed by the renowned ‘Neram’ director Alphonse Puthren and the film is all set to hit the big screens on the occasion of Onam. According to recent reports, the OTT rights for the movie have been bagged by a popular OTT platform for a record price and the reports also say that the film will start streaming in different languages. This report has not yet been confirmed officially by the makers. On the other hand, it was reported on the last day that ‘Gold’ will not have a trailer release before the movie release and the report was confirmed by Alphonse Puthrem himself via his official Facebook page. Alphonse Puthren also said that there may be an official song release before the movie hits the big screens and the audience is expecting it to be something like the song ‘Pistah’ from his early movie ‘Neram’. Earlier the makers unveiled an intriguing teaser for ‘Gold’ that soared up the expectation levels for the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer. The recently released poster featuring the ‘Kaduva’ actor also looked interesting and unique. ‘Gold’ helmed by Alphonse Puthren boasts a list of strong cast that includes the actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nayanthara, and several other actors such as Chemban Vinod Jose, Roshan Mathew, Shanthi Krishna, Deepthi Sati, Lalu Alex, Krishna Sankar, and Mallika Sukumaran will be playing pivotal roles in the movie.
