Her debut movie Premam completed five years recently. Sharing her happiness, she says, "It was amazing to see how people still remember Premam and celebrated it despite the Covid-19 crisis. Premam is the reason why I am what I am now. If anyone knows Anupama, it is because of Mary. I don’t think any other character had the same impact. It is hard to believe that it has been five years as it was so eventful - the song coming out, the film releasing, the trolls that followed and signing three consecutive Telugu movies, and now here I am having acted in 13 films across all South Indian languages. This is a life that I never imagined though I always wished to act. Director Alphonse Putharen came to my life as an angel and transformed my families’ lives. That’s why we named our home - Premam."
