Anoop Menon urges everyone to stay indoors to prevent Covid-19 spread

With the country entering a crucial phase in terms of controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, it has never been more important for people to follow social distancing. Celebrities in Mollywood too have been urging the same. On Saturday, actor Anoop Menon put up a social media post, advising people to stay indoors. “From the news of fresh incidents of corona infection in our state it is evident that things are slowly but steadily getting out of our hands..for once, let us obey the government and medical agencies setting aside our politics,religion and faith..what china could and italy couldn't stands as a perfect example ...while china went for a complete lockdown and curbed the virus spread to a minimum the Italians took it easy and are paying a heavy price .. we still see festivals and social gatherings in kerala disregarding even the basic principles to be obeyed in face of a pandemic..this is not culture,this is crime...once the community spread happens, especially in a nation like ours there is nothing that we can possibly do but wait for the inevitable," he posted.
