Actress assault case: Dileep's wife to be interrogated after Crime Branch retrieves voice note saying Kavya Madhavan planned the conspiracy

Back in 2017, a popular Malayalam actress was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted while she was returning from work. This case sent shockwaves in the entire Malayalam industry after the main accused, Pulsar Sunil, revealed that popular Malayalam actor Dileep was behind the assault. Later, Dileep got arrested before getting released on bail. Now, in a recent update on the case, the Crime Branch has reportedly revealed that Dileep's wife, Kavya Madhavan, is also allegedly involved in the 2017 sexual assault case. She has now been summoned for interrogation and will be questioned by the crime branch on April 11. The crime branch has retrieved a voice note from the phone of one of the accused, suggesting that it was Kavya who had planned the crime. And her husband, Dileep, got involved in it much later. As per the reports, in a voice note, Suraj, who is the accused and also the brother-in-law of Dileep, stated that it was Kavya, who is the mastermind in the case, as she wanted to put her former friend Bhavana Menon in trouble.
