‘Aanandam’ director Ganesh Raj’s next titled ‘Pookkaalam’

After the heartwarming college romance film ‘Aanandam’, the director Ganesh Raj will be teaming up with the actors Vijayaraghavan, KPAC Leela, Basil Joseph, and Vineeth Sreenivasan for an upcoming movie which is titled ‘Pookkaalam’. As the name itself suggests, ‘Pookkalam’ seems to be exploring a theme related to the fruitful season of pure romance and change. The first look poster shows an old couple lying on a bed facing opposite each other. Veteran actress KPAC Leela and actor Vijayaraghavan will be possibly playing the old couple characters in the film. ‘Aanandam’ director Ganesh Raj took to his official Instagram handle to share the first look of his sophomore directorial venture. Sharing the poster, the director penned a note that read, “ Pookkaalam. The season of growth, change, and Love. The second film, first look.” ‘Pookkaalam’ is written and directed by Ganesh Raj and Anend C Chandran is roped in as the cinematographer for the film. Midhun Murali will handle the cuts of ‘Pookkaalam’ and the music by Sachin Warrier. On the other hand, Ganesh Raj’s directorial debut ‘Aanandam’ was released in the year 2016 and had the actors Vishak Nair, Arun Kurian, Anarkali Marikar, Roshan Mathew, Siddhi Mahajankatti, and Annu in pivotal roles.
