Puneeth Rajkumar’s doctor reveals what caused the Powerstar's ‘sudden death’ and his last moments at the hospital

The sudden demise of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar has left the film fraternity and millions of his fans mourning who are grieving the loss of their beloved 'Appu'. The late actor was laid to rest with full state honours on October 31 after he succumbed to a cardiac arrest on 29th October. Now, Puneeth's cardiologist mentions about his last day and possible reason of cardiac arrest. Dr. Rao said that Puneeth's death was caused by a medical condition called sudden death due to massive cardiac arrest. As per media reports, throwing light on Puneeth's routine on his last day Dr Rao said that Puneeth was looking fine when he made his way to the clinic. Reports also claim that the late actor visited Dr. Rao's clinic with his wife at around 11:20 am after finishing his daily morning workout. While consulting the doctor Puneeth complained about being tired but denied of having any chest pain onto which Dr. Rao immediately examined him. Post which, Dr. Rao found that his heartbeat and lungs looked fine but as the late actor was sweating so he decided to do an ECG. Puneeth was then referred to Bengaluru's Vikram hospital as Dr Rao noticed a strain in the ECG. Watch the video for more details.
