Bhojpuri actress Ritu Singh held captive at gunpoint in a UP hotel by stalker, who wanted to marry her

Bhojpuri film actress Ritu Singh narrowly escaped an attempted kidnapping on May 25 when a youth, who is now being described as a 'stalker', broke into her hotel room in UP with a pistol in his hand. As per reports, the youth, who has been identified as Pankaj Yadav, held the actress hostage and threatened her to marry him. After her terrified screams brought a local youth, identified as Ashok, to her rescue, the stalker panicked and opened fire. Ritu Singh along with her crew members from an upcoming Bhojpuri film were staying at the hotel for a shoot when the incident took place. Reportedly, Yadav had been stalking the actress for quite some time. Meanwhile, the actress has now lodged an FIR against Yadav.
