Actor-politician Saayoni Ghosh has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection to the education scam. Ever since the news broke out it kicked up a social media storm. Saayoni who is also the Trinamool Congress youth state president has received the ED summons after the probe agency discovered fresh evidence in connection to the ongoing teachers' recruitment scam case in West Bengal. The ‘Aparajito’ actress has been asked to appear before the Enforcement Directorate officers in Kolkata on Friday with a few specific documents. According to multiple reports, the Bengali actress might face hours of grilling regarding a series of suspicious financial transactions. Saayoni Ghosh's name reportedly came under the scanner following a recent investigation in connection with some properties of Kuntal Ghosh, the expelled TMC youth leader who was arrested in the education scam earlier in January this year.
