Mollywood lauds Uyare

‘Uyare’, in which Parvathy portrays an acid attack victim who ultimately triumphs, is being celebrated for its all-round excellence in film-making, be it the acting or the technical aspects. The film directed by Manu Ashokan and written by hit screenwriting brothers Bobby-Sanjay, also features Asif Ali, who plays a possessive boyfriend, and Tovino. Actors and filmmakers from the Malayalam industry have praised the film. Director Jude Anthany Joseph, among others, said that the film can be watched with pride and some tears in your eyes.
