It’s been almost a week now since veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s demise and yet it feels like it was just yesterday. While millions are still reeling under shock, the actor’s close friend of nearly three decades, Jaipur-based film distributor Raj Bansal remembered him. In an interview. He recalled the phone call he got from the actor when he first got diagnosed. He said that as soon as he answered, Rishi told him that he had to speak to him after which he choked up and told him to call back in five minutes. When Bansal called back, the late actor informed him that he had bad news for he had been diagnosed with cancer and he was flying to New York the same evening. On Rishi’s passing, Bansal also took to Twitter to express his heartbreak.
