A gifted orator and a prolific poet, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathed his last on August 16. It was in the year 2002, when one of the biggest amalgamations of talents from politics and Hindi Film Industry took place. One of Vajpayee’s poems ‘Kya Khoya Kya Paya’ was converted into a song by Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh. The album was titled ‘Samvedna’, which was also a book written by Vajpayee in 1999. The music video featured Shah Rukh Khan, and the prologue was narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. While many Bollywood stars mourned his death, it was SRK’s tweet which was a major throwback to this nostalgic song.
