When Akshaye Khanna admitted he can't take his eyes off Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women Indian cinema has ever seen. Whenever the timeless beauty comes on screen, many go weak in their knees. But, it's not just fans, even some of her co-stars have been in awe of her magnetic charm. Recently, we stumbled upon a throwback interview of actor Akshaye Khanna wherein he spoke about Aishwarya and called her the 'sexiest' girl. He was asked, 'Who do you think is the sexiest girl in business right now?', to which the 'Dil Chahta Hai' actor replied, 'Aishwarya Rai..... I can't take my eyes off her every time I meet her...it's embarrassing for men. He added, 'she must be used to it...people staring at her... But I'm not used to not being able to take my eyes off somebody. You just keep staring at her like a lunatic'. Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya featured in late legendary actor Rishi Kapoor's film 'Aa Ab Laut Chalen' which marked his directorial debut. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, the couple's chemistry was much appreciated. Later, the duo worked in Subhash Ghai's 'Taal'. On the career front, Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She will next be seen reuniting with filmmaker Mani Ratnam in ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. The film is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy's historical period-based fictional novel by the same name. She will reportedly be essaying a grey character in the movie. Akshaye, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2020 release 'Sab Kushal Mangal', and he is now all set to make his digital debut. It is being directed by Vijay Gutte and will go on floors towards the end of 2021.
