Vidya Balan opens up on her 'horrible experiences' in the southern film industry

The actress recently revealed that she was replaced in many films and was even thrown out of a Tamil film. When her parents asked the producer on this matter, he showed them her clips and said, 'just look at her. Does she look like a heroine.' The producer added that he only agreed on keeping her in the film on director's insistence. Facing such rejections, Vidya went through a tough phase and didn't look at herself for almost 6 months feeling 'ugly' and deploring her own reflection. The immensely talented actress, Vidya's latest venture 'Mission Mangal' has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the box office.
