Veer Savarkar biopic stirs controversy: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew slams Randeep Hooda for 'distorting' history

Strongly refuting Randeep Hooda’s claim in the biopic of Veer Savarkar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose while speaking to ANI, slammed film director Randeep Hooda and said that no film director has right to distort facts and it is the responsibility of directors & actors to show correct facts. He also added that the country must fight against those who are trying to show distorted facts to youth.Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose said, “Interpretations can vary, but if basic facts are distorted, then the entire history will change. It is the responsibility of directors & actors to show correct facts. No film director has the right to distort facts. We will appreciate it (film) if it’s based on the true personality of Savarkar. The whole country must fight against those who are trying to show distorted facts to youth.”
