Varun Dhawan has in the past walked miles in a professional dancer's shoes in hit films like ‘ABCD’ and ‘Street Dancer 3D’. Now, amid the current COVID-19 crisis, the actor has extended his support to several real-life dancers. The lockdown hit Bollywood the hardest with shoots being stalled and cinema halls shut. The most affected, however, were background dancers who were left without jobs. After knowing the plight of the dancers, Varun Dhawan transferred money into the accounts of as many as 200 background dancers. Commenting on this act of kindness, a source revealed, 'Varun has worked with a lot of dancers in three dance films. He was very concerned about how the dancers are managing their livelihood...'
