Actor Navtej Hundal, who played the role of the home minister in Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', passed away on Monday evening. The actor happens to be popular TV actress Avantika Hundal's father. Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) took to its Twitter handle to share the sad news of the actor's demise and expressed its condolence. However, the cause of his death is still not known. On the other hand, Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty is all set to make his directorial debut and he had roped in Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan to play a Pakistani protagonist in the film. However, reports are now suggesting that Big B has turned down the role after tensions between India and Pakistan escalated.
