Twinkle Khanna reacts on Aryan Khan's arrest, compares drugs case with 'Squid Game'

Former actress turned author Twinkle Khanna is known for her quirky take on any issue whether it is social, political or personal. Now, at a time when many Bollywood celebrities are coming out in support of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who was arrested in a drug case, Twinkle too joined the bandwagon, but in her own style. Taking to her Instagram handle, Twinkle shared a portion of her column from the Times of India in which she compared Aryan's case with the popular Korean series ‘Squid Game’. Citing the example of the first game played in the series, Twinkle wrote, “Each player is given ten marbles and must get their opponent’s marbles by competing in any game of their choosing. In this episode, one of the strongest candidates is badgered and ultimately bamboozled into losing his marbles. I seem to have misplaced mine as well when I read the news about Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s arrest.” Pointing out that Aryan has been in jail for two weeks without any evidence against him, Twinkle further wote, “While his friend was apparently carrying 6 gm of charas, there is reportedly no evidence of possession by Aryan Khan. Yet, the young boy has been languishing in Arthur Road jail for almost two weeks now.” She captioned her entire post as, 'In India, we have been playing our own version of Squid Game for as long as I can remember, and I am not referring to the numerous times when someone from a crowd pops up and squirts ink on prominent public figures like Baba Ramdev or our Delhi chief minister.”Here is the list of our Desi Squid Games. Twinkle's post also received appreciation from Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap, who commented 'What a lovely strong piece'. Many fans also praised how Twinkle compared Aryan's case with Squid Game as one of the users wrote, 'Omg superb... I dnt know how u manage to write so well... But amazingly compared and put across'. Another one commented, 'Exactly my thoughts ..what's happening in j&k and other states ... We all seem participants waiting to get killed .. there's no prize money though. A good analogy of desi squid games'. Meanwhile, a Special NDPS court will pronounce the verdict on Aryan Khan's bail plea on October 20.
