‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri reacts to the recent terror attack on a Kashmiri Pandit in Kashmir: 'Genocide of Kashmiri Hindus..'

In what was the 4th terrorist attack in Kashmir in the last two days, a shopkeeper in the valley’s Shopian district was recently shot at, which left him seriously injured. Bal Krishan, a Kashmiri Pandit, received bullet injuries on his hand and leg and was taken to an Army hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Though his condition is now stable, the director of the latest superhit film ‘The Kashmir Files’ reacted to the attack saying that the Kashmir genocide is the 'longest and continuous' in the history of humanity. Taking to Twitter, Vivek Agnihotri wrote, "Kashmir Genocide is the longest, continuous Genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in the history of humanity. Truth or propaganda? My prayers with the victims." He tweeted this by quoting the news update of the terrorist attack on Bal Krishan. Meanwhile, Vivek Agnihotri has been reportedly invited to the British Parliament to speak about the crisis of the Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s. According to reports, the director is expected to visit the UK later in April along with his wife Pallavi Joshi. ‘The Kashmir Files’ has managed to earn a massive 331 crores at the global box-office, and has collected about 246 crores in India alone, according to latest reports. The film is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 and it stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni among other notable actors.
