Taapsee Pannu's most recent release 'Thappad' is centered around a wife who decides to give her husband a divorce after he slaps her for the first time. While many on social media heaped praises on the actress and director Anubhav Sinha, 'Baaghi 3' director Ahmed Khan reportedly said he did not understand the concept. Now, responding to this, Taapsee in a recent interview said that Ahmed, as a filmmaker has the right to make films based on what he finds correct, so does she and Anubhav. She also added that although she's always seen relationships filled with love and respect, it’s highly likely that the kind of relationships Ahmed is talking about exists too. For the unversed, Ahmed reportedly said that if he ever slaps his wife, she can slap him back and end it all. He also specified that no matter how he reacts, she has equal rights to behave the same way. But leaving the husband just because of a single slap is beyond his understanding.
