Sometime back, reports were rife that the Special Investigating Team of the Central Bureau of Investigation, that is probing the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput is about to submit its closure report of the case to a CBI court in Bihar in a few days. As it turns out, that isn't the case. In an official statement, CBI has now rubbished the reports and said that they are still investigating the case. The statement further stated, 'It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous'. It is to be noted that while the CBI is still investigating different angles in the case, the AIIMS forensic team, which was formed to look into SSR's demise had ruled out 'murder and poisoning' as a possible cause of death of Sushant.
