Film and TV producer Ekta Kapoor property in Mumbai was vandalised by a mob of 40-50 people, who apparently gathered outside her bungalow in Juhu. It was reported, that the mob threw stones at her house, even breaking a few windows. The protest was alleged regarding a scene from her web series, where a sex racket is being run from a hostel named after a noble Sardar of the Maratha Empire, Ahilyabai Holkar. Reportedly, a descendant of leader Ahilyabai Holkar had taken offense at the use of the name and had even written a letter to the production house. Bhushansingh Raje Holkar had demanded that the scene be deleted and an apology tendered. Now, taking to her Instagram story, Ekta then stated that she is not creatively involved in the project but has apologised on behalf of her team. She also added that the scene has been deleted from the show and it wasn't the intention to hurt anybody's sentiments.
