Actress Anu Gowda assaulted by villagers over land dispute: Reports

South actress Anu Gowda was reportedly assaulted over a land dispute in Karnataka’s Shivamogga. According to reports, the incident took place in Kaspadi village where she had gone to negotiate with the local residents. The details of what the case and dispute is are not known yet, but names of two accused persons, Neelamma and Mohan have come to the fore and a case has been registered at the local police station. Anu is reportedly undergoing treatment in a hospital right now as she has sustained injuries on her face and head. Some pictures of the actress from the hospital have come out which suggested that she was badly assaulted. Anu who can be seen with bandages all across her head seemed to have undergone intravenous therapy.
