Actress Sofia Hayat, recently landed herself in troubled waters, courtesy her controversial post on social media. A Mumbai resident filed a complaint at the Cyber Crime Cell against Sofia for hurting and insulting the religious sentiments through her posts. The picture that led to a ruckus on Twitter showed Sofia bowing down naked in front of an 'Om Symbol' with her back towards the camera. On the other hand, the Palghar incident in Maharashtra where three people were lynched to death by a violent mob has shaken the entire nation. Condeming the incident, actor Farhan Akhtar has come forward to express himself and hopes that the murderers have been arrested. Meanwhile, veteran actor Anupam Kher too condemned the incident on Twitter and and expressed how deeply saddened he is to hear about it.
