Singer Rekha Bhardwaj slams music reality shows for 'spoiling' innocence of children

Entertainment industry these days is filled with reality shows for all age groups which gives people a platform to showcase their talents. But singer Rekha Bhardwaj, who has sung songs like 'Kabira' and 'Genda Phool' is not of the same opinion. In a series of tweets, the singer lashed out at reality shows centered around children, slamming them for exploiting kids and allegedly 'spoiling their innocence'. Rekha also expressed disappointment at how instead of teaching the kids to treat music as a prayer, they are taught how to 'compete/ask for votes/learn to look glamorous... in the name of Guru Shishya Parampara.' Her opinion was then seconded by a few on social media.
