Shekhar Kapur recalls horror of India-Pakistan partition

Amid tension between India and Pakistan, several film celebrities took to Twitter to express their feelings on social media. However, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur got emotional when he got to know that an IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was held captive in Pakistan. Shekhar shared an emotional story on his twitter handle about how his family suffered during the partition. He revealed how his mother enacted dead to save him and his sister during the massacre on an India-bound train. Meanwhile, Wing Commander Abhinandan was released by Pakistan and he returned to India on March 1.
