Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been absolved of the charges of being a beneficiary of a benami property in the beach town of Alibaug in Maharashtra. Calling the order of the Income Tax department baseless and coloured, the appellate Authority has revoked it. In 2017, the I-T department had alleged that the 'Zero' actor had bought the property under false pretenses of farming and later constructed a farmhouse instead. However, the authorities have cleared the air now and Shah Rukh Khan is finally relieved from the matter.
