Sanjay Leela Bhansali to back film on Balakot surgical strikes

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali,who last directed Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor film 'Padmaavat' is all set to produce a film based on the recent Balakot airstrike by the Indian Air Force. According to the reports, the film will be produced by Bhansali along with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Mahaveer Jain. The film will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor, whose last film was 'Kedarnath'. It’s also reported that the casting of the film on the Balakot surgical strike is currently on at the moment and several A-listers have shown interest in being a part of the project. No doubt, the huge success of 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' featuring Vicky Kaushal has also played a factor in speeding up the process of bringing the Balakot air strikes to the big screen. The film is being touted as a tribute to the nation by the makers.
