Sanjay Dutt's 'Torbaaz' director Girish Malik's son committed suicide after his father tried to stop him from drinking, confirm police

Sanjay Dutt starrer film 'Torbaaz' director Girish Malik's son Mannan passed away on 18th March after falling from the fifth floor of their home in Mumbai’s Andheri. However, there was no confirmation whether it was an accident or something else happened. But, now ETimes has it confirmed from police that it was a case of suicide. In a conversation with ETimes, Senior Police Inspector Bandopant Bansode of Amboli Police Station has said, 'Mannan had come home consuming a few drinks after playing Holi. However, he kept drinking at home too. His father had a word or two with him asking him to not drink but he did not listen. He got aggressively excited, broke the window, and leaped out.' Speaking about the tragic incident, Mannan had gone to play Holi and he returned home sometime in the afternoon. Mannan was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, but he did not survive.
