Trouble never seems to end for ‘Adipurush’ and its makers. Now we hear that saints in Ayodhya have demanded a ban on the film. The head priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Acharya has claimed that the filmmakers have misrepresented the characters of Ramayana and showed Hindu deities in a ‘distorted’ manner. Another priest of Hanuman Garhi temple has sought a ban on ‘Adipurush’ alleging that it is a classic example of filmmakers showing no concern about Hindu sentiments. Furthermore, the Mani Ram Das Chhavni Peeth, the most powerful body of Ayodhya saints, too has backed the demand for a ban on the Prabhas-starrer. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
