Saif Ali Khan to face trial from June 15 in 2012 case of assaulting a South African businessman; gets summoned

After 11 years, the trial against Saif Ali Khan in the 2012 case about assaulting a South African businessman will begin on June 15. The court has already issued a summons to the actor. The complaint was filed by businessman Iqbal Mir Sharma on February 22, 2012, alleging that Saif and his two friends- Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi, attacked him and his father-in-law at a hotel in Mumbai. According to Police, the actor punched and fractured Iqbal Sharma's nose. However, the film 'Omkara' actor said he only acted in self-defense and dismissed all charges leveled by Sharma.
