The iconic RK Studios in Chembur was demolished on 10th of August, but the developers will now restore gate of the studios as a souvenir of Hindi cinema’s iconic landmark. The demolishing of studios has left many B-town celebs sad and nostalgic including veteran actors Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapure. In a recent interview, the Kapoors said that they are sad to see everything being razed and that it's their father's legacy, which will always hold a special place in their hearts. Actor Padmini Kolhapure, who shot many films at RK Studios, including her debut film 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' in 1978, expressed sadness and said that she will miss every part of it. Calling herself an RK Studios heroine she remembered it as her second home and that she will miss the studio every time she will pass the bend where it stood.
