Actress Rimi Sen despite staying away from the silver screen for more than a decade now enjoys a massive fan following. The actress recently opened up about her struggles and the kind of roles she was offered in her career. In a recent interview, the beautiful actress, while admitting that a little more struggle and fight could land her some better work, she said, 'I should have stayed for a little while because when I left all the good directors started to enter that time only. Neeraj Pandey, Shoojit Sircar, Dibakar Banerjee all such directors started at that time. I would have got good work had I struggled some more.' Rimi also spoke about how she was not happy with the roles she was offered as she said, 'Actually, I didn't want to act, I wanted to become a producer or a director or something. I wanted to make my kind of movies, I wasn't happy with the kind of roles which I was getting.' She further recalled her tough time and revealed that she joined the entertainment industry during her early teens. She said, 'I started working when I was a child, I was in school, and I struggled a lot because I had financial issues at a very early age. I was like a money-making machine, my focus was money and financial stability. And then this was a very nice platform. I wasn't looking at fame, stardom, and attention, I never wanted that. I am happier behind the camera as a producer/director rather than putting makeup on my face and posing for paparazzi.' Meanwhile, talking about her work front, the actress, who is known for films like 'Hungama' and 'Golmaal: Fun Unlimited' was last seen in the 2011 movie 'Shagird' and also featured as a contestant in the TV reality show 'Bigg Boss 9' in the year 2015.
