Rashami Desai reaches out to Mumbai Police against Umar Riaz's fans for 'harassing' her on social media

Rashami Desai and Umar Riaz often share pictures and videos with each other on social media. After rubbishing the rumours surrounding her and Umar Riaz's relationship, the actress has now accused his fans of 'harassing' her. The actress has now reached out to the Mumbai Police and urged them to look into the matter as she alleged that Umar's fans are troubling her by 'dragging' her family into it. Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, '@MahaCyber1 @cyber @MumbaiPolice my pets request plz look into the matter because they are harming me and my family image and it’s the actual fandom or on purpose m getting harassment. My family is getting dragged and it’s harassment.' Notably, Umar Riaz's fans seem upset with Rashami Desai for implying that the model is in a relationship with someone else. Recently, in a conversation with an entertainment portal, Rashami opened up on the rumours of dating Umar and said, 'I think Umar must be having somebody and he is very personal about his life. We respect that boundary, I think people love me with him and I understand that, I respect that. But we're just friends and the kind of bond we have- we fight a lot. We have disagreements about everything. This is what we are, we are very good friends.' She further added, 'As far the love life is concerned, I think I don't need it, or maybe I'm not looking for love, or I don't want it. I think I am very happy, have a good set of people around me. I don't want it, I am not desperate.' This statement did not go down well with Umar's fans and they started bashing the actress on social media. While one user wrote, 'Who the hell is she to comment on Umar’s personal life! When Umar himself said he is single!', another one said, 'She used him to revive her career.'
