After recently narrating his experience on Twitter amid nepotism debate, actor Ranvir Shorey in his latest interview blamed the Bhatts for his ordeal. Stating that he went through the same professional and social isolation as Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranvir said that during his fallout with the Bhatts' in 2003-2005, they lied about him in the media and called him an alcoholic and abuser. For the unversed, Ranvir in his last few tweets wrote, 'The despair I went through at the time was enough to break me, but I survived thanks to my family and a few friends. I even had to leave the country because of how toxic the environment got for me. Coincidence? No. Modus operandi? Yes.'
