Ranvir Shorey: 'My understanding with my CA is that I will do what you want, just make sure I never go to jail'

Known for his impeccable acting skills, actor Ranvir Shorey is all set to feature in a film based on financial crime. In the film, which will be released on an OTT platform, Ranvir portrays the character of a public prosecutor. Recently, in a conversation with a news portal, while opening up on his financial knowledge, the actor quipped that he is in the hands of his CA. He said, 'I have a very broad understanding of what makes black money and what makes white money. I do the best that I can to keep myself financially safe. To be honest with you, I am in the hands of my CA. My only understanding with my CA is that I will do what you want and I will sign what you want, just make sure I never go to jail.' Further on a serious note, while confessing that he is a law-abiding citizen, he stated, 'I always make sure that I am on the right side of the law. This is something that comes from. You know my father was a lawyer, served in the civil services. That is something we were all taught at home - Make sure you are always on the right side of the law, never break the law.' Meanwhile, talking about his work front, Ranvir Shorey, who made his debut nearly two decades ago with Manisha Koirala’s 'Ek Chhoti si Love Story' has carved a niche for himself in the industry. Post that, he essayed small roles in several films like 'Jism', 'Lakshya', and many others. However, he got recognition in the year 2006 with the film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' and since then there is no look-back moment for him as he went on to play pivotal roles in films like 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Bheja Fry', 'Titli' to name a few.
