Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin brother Armaan Jain's name recently cropped up in a money laundering case. Reportedly, amid an investigation of Tops Grup money laundering case which was filed against Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik, the ED officials had also conducted a search at Armaan's residence in South Mumbai on February 9. It was on the same day that Armaan's maternal uncle and actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor passed away. The raid lasted for about two and a half hours. Armaan Jain, on February 17, joined the probe at the ED office to record his statement in the money laundering case. This is the second time Armaan has been summoned by the agency. Once earlier, he had been summoned but he gave it a skip citing some personal reasons. For the unversed, Armaan’s name came up in the case as he is reportedly a close friend of Sarnaik's son Vihang, who is also being investigated in the same case. Reportedly, Vihang Sarnaik has been questioned twice in the case and while he was called for questioning, the ED officials had also taken data from his mobile phone. The Enforcement Directorate is currently investigating the alleged Rs 175 crore money laundering case related to security firm Tops Grup that came into light last year. Armaan is the son of Rima Jain, who is the sister of Late Rishi and Rajiv and Randhir Kapoor. His younger brother is Aadar Jain, actress Tara Sutaria's beau. He tied the knot with ladylove Anissa Malhotra, last year in February. Armaan has also tried his hand at acting. In 2014, he made his debut with the film 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' opposite Deeksha Seth. The film was jointly produced by Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan, and Sunil Lulla. The film was helmed by Arif Ali, the brother of Imtiaz Ali.
