Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II has passed away at the age of 99. Ever since, the news broke out, the entire world has been mourning his demise. Prince Philip spent more than seven decades supporting his wife in a role that defined his life. Messages of condolences have been pouring in from all sides on social media. Bollywood actors like Aftab Shivdasani, Pooja Bhatt, Saba Ali Khan and many others took to their social media handles to express their condolences. Pooja Bhatt tweeted, 'End of an era in more ways than one', while Saba shared a rare picture of Prince Philip with Queen Elizabeth as she paid tribute to him. Philip spent four weeks in hospital earlier this year for treatment for an infection to have a heart procedure, but returned to Windsor in early March. The flag at Buckingham Palace, the queen's residence in London, was lowered to half-staff after the announcement of Philip's death. The Royal Family's website featured a black-and-white portrait of the prince. The Duke of Edinburgh, as he was officially known, had been by his wife's side throughout her 69-year reign, the longest in British history.
