Pankaj Tripathi reveals how years ago he got conned by an agent: 'Now I make sure to make only cheque payments'

After years of hardships and struggle, the film 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' actor, who comes from a family of farmers in Bihar, has finally carved a position for himself in the industry wherefrom the audience to the filmmakers, everyone is not only noticing him but are turning into his fans. His calming yet powerful on-screen presence always creates magic and makes his acting impeccable and characters worth remembering. Currently, he got a slew of projects in the pipeline, ready for release. Recently, in a conversation with a news agency, the actor revealed that years ago, he got conned by an agent, after which he made sure to make only cheque payments instead of cash. While mentioning that he realized the scam after a few months of getting conned, the actor said, 'When I contacted the company to check on the policy, they denied having it. After this, I made sure to make only cheque payments. It was a small amount of Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000, but the incident made me aware.' Pankaj also spoke about not taking the success on his head and said, 'This has not happened overnight. It has taken a lot of time to be here. I am 45-years-old today and at this age, the success won’t get to my head because you know and understand life. So, my perspective is a little different.'
