Diwali couldn't have possibly ended on a sweeter note for megastar Amitabh Bachchan this year. His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a distinguished Hindi poet in whose name the Polish city Wroclaw named a square back in October. On the festival of lights, a special 'diya' was lit and placed on the statue and Big B shared its picture on social media. An overwhelmed son wrote, 'They honour Babuji by placing a 'diya' for Deepavali at his statue in Wroclaw , Poland .. an honour a pride.' It was in December 2019 that Big B took to social media to announce that Wroclaw has decided to name a square in his father’s name. He had then shared pictures from a church service in Poland in honour of his father.
