Neena Gupta reveals Satish Kaushik offered to marry her while she was pregnant with Vivian Richards' child out of wedlock

Veteran actress Neena Gupta who recently published her autobiography has made several revelations in the same. Neena has revealed that her actor and filmmaker friend Satish Kaushik had offered to marry her when she was pregnant with cricketer Vivian Richards’ child out of wedlock. While the actress has raised her daughter Masaba single-handedly without her father around, she recently revealed that Satish Kaushik had offered to marry her. According to her, he had told her if her child is born with a dark skin, she can just say that it is his child and they will get married. Neena also opened up about all the things she had to go through even on the professional front because of the image that was created of her. She also added that she used to get all negative roles of a dominating woman in the household in because she feels a strong woman means a negative woman in our films. Earlier, Neena opened up about raising and parenting her daughter alone, without any financial support from anyone. In a conversation with the Times Now, the actress confessed that she was in love and confident enough to raise her daughter alone. She said, 'I had confidence that I won't ask for my money or anything else.' While recalling her mother's teaching, she further added, 'I was sure I will do something. I have learned from my mother not to be ashamed of doing any work. I had this confidence in me that I won't be asking for any help from anyone coz I was ready to do any work even if it's domestic chores also.' Further, she admitted that she was quite aware that there will be gossip all around but that did not let her turn weak. Meanwhile, Neena is today happily married to Vivek Mehra and Masaba is all grown up today. The actress is also in a happy space professionally where she is currently enjoying her second-innings and has been a part of some very interesting films which includes, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, ‘Badhaai Ho’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’.
