NCB says 'need to record most critical witness' Prabhakar Sail's statement to reach conclusion on extortion allegation in Aryan Khan's drug case

The infamous cruise drug case, involving superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, has raised several questions after one of the independent witnesses in the case, Prabhakar Sail, accused Sameer Wankhede and other officials of an attempt to extort money. Now, a senior official has said that that the Special Enquiry Team (SET) of the NCB which is probing allegations of an extortion attempt in the cruise ship drug bust case can not make any progress unless it speaks to Prabhakar. In an interview, NCB's Deputy Director-General, Gyaneshwar Singh, who is heading the five-member SET, has already recorded the statements of five officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau and three others so far. He further added that his team tried to contact Prabhakar Sail and also requested the Mumbai police commissioner to help as 'there were reports in the media that he is in contact with police and they are examining him.' While revealing that NCB has even tried to contact Prabhakar's relatives, he also said 'We also appealed Sail through the media to come forward to record his statement and submit the evidence as we are not able to serve him notice. I expect he could join the inquiry and give his valid statement as he is our most critical witness and without him, it is not possible to reach any conclusion.'
