Two noncognisable complaints have been filed against actor Naseeruddin Shah's daughter Heeba Shah, who was accused of assaulting two animal welfare workers. The incident took place on January 16, when the actress took two cats to a veterinary clinic for sterilisation. The trustee of the foundation said that Heeba was asked to wait by the clinic staff, at which she got angry and impatient. When the actress was asked to sign the consent form, she reportedly assaulted them. The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV. On being asked about this episode, Heeba said that it happened in the 'heat of the moment.' She wanted to leave the clinic after witnessing their unhygienic conditions but the staff prevented her from doing so and was rude to her.
