The recent launch of the poster of the upcoming film ‘Namaste England’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra can invite legal troubles for the makers. The poster of the film is now embroiled in map controversy. The makers of this much-awaited film recently launched the poster of the film in which the map of India looks distorted, missing the Aksai Chin region of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Indian laws, misrepresentation of the Indian map is a violation of National Map Policy (2005). Also, according to the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1961, the act of misrepresentation of India's boundaries comes with a punishment, jail term or fine or both. There is no official statement from the makers as yet over the issue. The film is all set to release on 19th October.
