Nagarjuna on working in Hindi film industry: 'I’ve never looked at the craving of acceptance in Bollywood'

Unlike many established actors, South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni never chased the dream of becoming a superstar in the Hindi film industry, not back then, not today. Maybe that's why it took him 17-long years to pick a Bollywood project after his last outing, 'LOC Kargil' in 2003. Nagarjuna, who is all set for a comeback with Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' says, 'Well, I don’t know what role Bollywood played in my career. I’ve never looked at it that way. I’ve have never looked at it as a career in Bollywood.' He, however, believes that working in Hindi films has helped him as well as his producers. He says, 'Now, people like me in Bollywood, and anywhere, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, or Mumbai. My films are watched, and that means my producer gets a little more money to play with while making a film. So, it helps an actor’s career.' He adds, 'But, I’ve never looked at the craving of acceptance in Bollywood.'
