'Mother India' actress Kumkum dies at 86, Nassir Khan and Naved Jafri offer condolences

Veteran actress Kumkum, who appeared in popular films like 'Mother India', 'Naya Daur', Raja Aur Runk','Kohinoor', 'Ek Lootera' among several others passed away at the age on 86. Actor Johnny Walker's son Nassir Khan revealed the news through a tweet. He wrote, 'Yesteryear's film actress KUMKUM aunty, passed away, she was 86. she did so many films; songs & dances were picturised on her. did so many movies opposite dad #johnnywalker'. Later, Naved Jafri too mourned the death of the actress and took to Twitter to share some pictures of hers along with a heartfelt note. He wrote: 'We have lost another gem. I have known her since I was a kid and she was a family, a superb artist, and a fantastic human being,. Rest in peace kumkum aunty '.
