The Hindi film industry has almost daily hit the headlines in 2020. Be it the discussion about nepotism, pay disparity between actors and actresses, actresses not getting work after a certain age, insider-outsider issue, actors' deaths or drugs case. Now, actress and filmmaker Tisca Chopra has voiced her opinion on some of Bollywood's burning issues of current times. The 'Taare Zameen Par' actress agrees that a shift is happening in the industry, but thinks that it will take time. Tisca believes that Bollywood is in the middle of a change, and now 'a lot more actresses are becoming braver in their choices of role, of having babies and realising they’re not sex toys anymore.' The 47-year-old actress feels that 'society is quite against over all and there is a need to start talking about such issues and overcome them.' Earlier in an exclusive interview with ETimes Tisca talked about women being constantly consumed for their sexuality in films, however there are stories beyond that. On the work front, Tisca would soon be directing a feature film, and will begin acting in a new web series in 2021.
