A Delhi-based lawyer recently objected to 'desh me malaria faila hua hai’ dialogue from the film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and filed a complaint against Aamir Khan and other makers for allegedly 'disrespecting the Indian Army and hurting Hindu sentiments.' Now, in a conversation with a news portal, Mona Singh, who played the role of Laal's mother in the film, reacted to the controversial scene and said, 'I think people who have raised an issue with the line have definitely not watched the film. You cannot tell a kid that riots are going on and people are killing each other. The best way a mother can explain something so massive in such a beautiful way, ‘Desh me malaria faila hua hai’ and the kid gets it that it's not the right time to step out of the house.'
