Mandakini, who rose to fame with her second film 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' recently claimed that heroines used to earn around Rs 1.5 lakh per film. During her latest interview with an entertainment portal, Mandakini claimed that the industry was then dominated by men and said, 'During those days heroines were not very much in demand. They were just used only for 3-4 songs and very few romantic scenes. When I started signing movies, whatever was coming...What happened in that was there were some movies which shouldn't have been done, that too I have worked for. Male used to decide with which actress they want to work.' Talking about 'bold scenes' and the kind of work she has been watching on OTT, Mandakini said that, 'Bold scenes don't have limitations now', adding further she said, 'Ab to too much ho gaya hai. If this is what it is, then what I did was nothing.' For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
